Dr Al-Shakarchi is an exemplary doctor and rheumatologist. Where other doctors in the past have not listened and have dismissed concerns, Dr Al-Shakarchi listens and takes time over your care. I have been seeing specialists for various issues for the last 20 years and in terms of clearly explaining issues and listening to concerns she is among the best. The only problem I have ever had under her care was when I for some reason was sent appointments to see another rheumatologist. Thankfully I was able to get in touch, sort the error and am now back under her care.

The only complaint I have is the waiting time. On one occasion I waiting 1 hour for my appointment & a second ocassion I waited 50 minutes. Both appointments were booked for 10.30am, not acceptable when I have work to get back to.

Great advice. Took time to understand what I wanted as well as giving me new perspectives on my condition to help me make better informed choices. After two visits the treatment is working and I've been signed off. Result. Thank you.

I have waited a long time for this follow up appointment. Having previously seen a different member of the team, I found Dr Al-Shakarchi very approachable and also very professional. She has been proactive in trying to help alleviate my current discomfort and has explained clearly the options available to me going forward. Thank you
